quote of the day

"The next person who pees on the floor will be punished. Seriously. I am sick and tired of stepping in pee."
Llama Momma

Those of you with little boys know exactly what I'm talking about. I'm sure aiming is tricky and all, but come on. It can't be that difficult!

Just you wait!!! It it turns into sitting in pee on the toilet seat. Beware!

arg! I hear you! Just when you're feeling smug about no more diapers, you step in or sit on pee. There is no rest.
Has anyone told you to put cheerios in the toilet to "practice" aim? I haven't tried it (didn't want to deal with a 2-year old trying to fish out cereal snacks!), but I've heard it's great with boys.

This one made me ROLL with laughter - and YES my son is still in diapers. TOO FUNNY!

anon -- thanks for giving me something to look forward to! Not! :-)

Mamatoo -- If there's one thing I've learned as a Mom, it's that smugness is a no-no. If I'm feeling smug, watch out -- the next parenting issue is right around the corner!

family of 5 -- thanks for stopping by!

SP -- When I'm camping, I'm VERY grateful for my boys!!

evenso -- thanks for stopping by! I'm sure this issue will be funnier with my grandchildren. :-)

maria -- thinking back on the diaper days, I'll take this any day! Really. Even with all of their troubles, I'll take cleaning the bathroom every day to changing a gazillion diapers any day! :-)

Now Llama Poppa will have to go potty at the same time as the boys and play "sink the battleship." You toss a square of toilet paper in there and try to submerge it.

Maybe they're trying to mark their territory. "That's mine. That's mine too. Oops, I didn't want that, but I guess it's mine, now. Oh, gotta have that. Mine, mine..."

Well, it's all nice and everything to have girls. Except that even little girls sometimes decide they want to "try going potty like Daddy." No house is pee-proof.

I as a young girl with two older brothers discovered that I could indeed pee standing up, Barkat :)

And Dotter 1 (age 2.5) used to sit too forward on the seat and then watch herself pee. Result: pee down the front of the toliet.

craver - would you believe somone called me yesterday after this post went up and explained in great detail the 'sink the battleship' game? We'll try it, though I'm guessing the mess will just be different, not gone.

LL & Jen -- sounds like practice makes perfect. ;-)
Actually, being able to pee standing up is not a bad thing -- especially in gas stations! I do it myself from time to time!
