stating the obvious

I’ve been quiet lately on this blog, yet strangely unsure of how to break the silence.

It’s not that I don’t have things to say. I do. I just don’t know how to say them, or even if I should say them.

So I’ve been quiet.

Plus I had an article published recently on the MOPS website that’s been sending me a ton of traffic. And, you know, the best thing to do when your blog is getting lots of traffic is to not write anything. Otherwise, people might like your blog and come back and visit again, and before you know it, actual people are reading your blog. Yup. Much better to just stop writing anything at all.

It’s like the balloon thing all over again.

I can't wait for you to start writing again. I do think you should say whatever you want to say. :)

Have we seen this article? Is it good newsletter material or has it already been in the newsletter? I don't go on the website. I found that if I didn't post for like 15 days I lost 95% of my regular readers.

Thank you, Liberty. I so appreciate your kind words!!

Everyday Mom -- thanks for stopping by!

LL -- Glad you saw the humor in the post. And thanks. :-)

Emily -- No. Not really. I don't know if it would be good in the newsletter or not. I so don't want the newsletter to become a "llama momma" writing show...but, honestly, I'm getting no feedback on anything I put in there. So why not??? I own the copyright. ;-)

Hey Llama Mama,
Cute name and site! I've been published with MOPS MomSense, as well. Unfortunately, I wasn't in bloggy land yet, so no link in my bio ; (

If you're seriously thinking about NaNo and if you're close to the Naperville/Warrenville area, we have a NaNo group for support and scheduled "write ins" (time to get out of the house and just write!) I'm planning to make as many mtgs as possible! (My 9 yr old son will join me.) Let me know - I can send you the details!

What a terrific article! You've given me a few good tips to put into action. My husband is gone for work a LOT, so I can really relate to the things you wrote about. Congrats!
