toddlers

I love the way toddlers think about things. I often look at my two-year old and wonder, what on earth are you thinking?

Take this picture for example. We were on vacation last August, staying in a waterpark hotel, and the toddler opened all the dresser drawers upon arrival, putting one grape in each.

Which just made me stop and think, what does he see when he sees this empty dresser? Is it just crying out for grapes or what?

And the TV. We kept taking the money out, but he just kept putting it right back in. Because obviously that TV really needed a little bit of money sticking out from the front of it. (If you look closely, you'll see several coins sticking out from the bottom left of the TV.)

Well that PBS fundraising campaign must have really worked its magic on your toddler and he wanted to do his part to give!

This brought back great memories!! When our daughter,(now in college,) was that age, she used to love to play with stacks of alphabet blocks. At different times she would go around the house depositing selected blocks into shoes. We made up this story about how she was an undercover spy trying to leave us coded messages... There's no doubt, Toddlers Rock!

Haha!! My little guy does some funny things like that, too. Who knows what they are thinking?

The grape made me laugh. I love that you took a picture to remember.

One of the vent levers in our car no longer slides back and forth because our toddler stuck quarters in it. Why do they do these things?
