Wait.
Who was that upbeat woman who posted yesterday and said she was enjoying winter in Chicagoland?
Doesn't she realize it's -20 degrees outside?
Um. Yeah. Everything I said yesterday? I take it back.
I'm cold, people.

Whew! I thought we were going to have to do an intervention. =]
It's very cold. I gave you an award today to try and tempt you to my blog....will it work?
C'mon! It's exhilarating, isn't it?...Isn't it??
At least it's a great excuse to drink endless cups of hot chocolate.
Hi, jumped here from writer inspired blog. This was funny and I can soo relate. I used to live in Chicago, where even my nose hairs froze! I do miss it though.
I hear you. We have had 3 snow days in a row. Which means I have been cooped up in a house with 4 children for 3 DAYS IN A ROW!!!
Actually, its not so bad. I'm kind of enjoying it. :)
Ah, the freezing nose hair. I remember my first winter there in the city thinking that I was going to die from the cold of the wind especially. There was one day I left my dorm for class and actually started to cry because it was so dang cold.
I am feeling pretty wimpy here in Seattle right now. Everyone around me is maybe wearing a hooded sweatshirt and I am bundled in my warmest down coat. Just this morning Mercy said to me: "Mom, I miss our life in Los Angeles." Thinking she was homesick and missing friends, I sat down to talk that through with her, but when I asked her what she missed about our life there, she simply said; "The weather."
I like the endless cups of hot choclate idea. It was minus 21.5 when Steph and I climbed out from under our down comforter this morning. I thought the planet was getting warmer. They had snow on the French Riviera!
